Thesis
When it comes to women and the military there was great conflict throughout history, and even today with all the advancements women have made they still face many challenges. There was and still is tremendous controversay around the subject of women fighting in the war; could they keep up and did they have what it takes to win. Women were, after many years, allowed to join the military combat. This was of course after they filled in for men; before women were allowed to fight, they would fill in the jobs as nurses or administrative assistants so that more men could participate in the wars.

Lt. gen. anne e. dunwoodyLt. Gen. Anne E. Dunwoody was the first four star female general for the U.S. Army. She served for 33 years according to an article on CNN. Dunwoody was ranked as one of the top women in 2005 for the Army. |
